Grafema LC started off as handwritten calligraphic works using a flat brush and variable angles of writing – 35° and 85°. It supports Extended Latin and Extended Cyrillic – more than 120 languages all together. Tectonic is an elegant and stable heavy-duty didonish typeface in three different flavors: the strong and sober Poster Style, the fancy and classic Engraved Style and the playful and sexy Swash Style, each of one includes a distinctive set of alternates, ligatures, numbers and plenty of other resources and OpenType features for your text delight.
Solid and heavy yet full of delicate details and variations, Tectonic was especially designed for being used in headings, logotypes, large text settings and display use in general where a well-founded and firm yet graceful and refined statement is needed.

Fun packed comic style font. Especially made for commercial products such as all kinds of packaging, cereals, video games, candy, kids toys and alike. I added ligatures for double letters to avoid a repeating look. Enjoy!

When we trimmed the serifs off our new slab serif family Mortise, we found a plain, efficient sans that marches through the uncanny valley between grotesk and geometric, with almost circular bowls that lend extra energy to the line. Like its sibling, Tenon has open counters, a generous x-height, and wide proportions that suit small sizes and small screens. Used larger, its brisk, optimistic air makes it a good choice for projects ranging from editorial design to signage. It’s available in six weights, from the precise X-Light to the muscular X-Bold.

F.W. Woolworth was once one of the giants of the variety store chains, along with the likes of Kress, S.S. Kresge, McCrory’s, Neisner Brothers, Ben Franklin and others.

In 1960, the company brought out a new corporate logo with a type design harking back to the Art Deco style of the 1930s and 1940s.

A photo of one of their old store fronts (despite having only eight letters to work with) inspired the digital interpretation of the signage as Bargain Shopping JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Toward the end of the 1920s, Art Deco influences were starting to creep into modern design. 

The hand lettered title on the cover of the1928 sheet music for “Fascinatin’ Vamp” not only embraced the new Deco movement, but sent it on a wild typographic ride.

Letters of mixed thicknesses and stylings made up the two word title, and this unusual group of letter shapes became the inspiration for Free Form Deco JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.
